Als traditionsreiches Familienunternehmen, das ausschließlich in Deutschland produziert und dem Standort Idar-Oberstein seit über einhundert Jahren treu geblieben ist, liegt uns die zukunftsfähige Entwicklung unseres Unternehmens am Herzen.
Entsprechend umfasst unser unternehmerischer Anspruch verantwortliches Handeln in wirtschaftlicher, sozialer und ökologischer Hinsicht und damit selbstverständlich auch den verantwortungsvollen Umgang mit den Ressourcen:
Wir nutzen keine Rohstoffe (z. B. Gold) aus Konfliktregionen. Material und Produktionsstoffe beziehen wir fast ausschließlich aus europäischen Quellen. Abfälle werden getrennt und insbesondere metallische Produktionsabfälle werden komplett der stofflichen Wiederverwertung zugeführt.
Das Thema Klimaschutz hat in den letzten Jahren zunehmend unser Handeln geprägt und mittlerweile erfolgt die Produktion bei Roll zu 100 % klimaneutral:
Um unseren Beitrag zur Einhaltung des 1,5°C-Ziels aus dem Pariser Klimaschutzabkommen zu leisten, wird der Strom, den wir seit mehr als zehn Jahren durch unsere eigene Photovoltaikanlage erzeugen, vollständig im Betrieb genutzt. Die CO2-Emissionen, die sich aktuell noch nicht vermeiden lassen, werden durch den Erwerb von Klimaschutzzertifikaten kompensiert, sodass unsere Produktion klimaneutral gestellt wurde.

Sustainability
We have produced exclusively in Germany for more than 100 years, and to shape a successful and sustainable future for our family-owned business is at the heart of our efforts.
Our entrepreneurial vision embraces social and ecological responsibility. We therefore source production materials almost entirely from European suppliers. On principle, we do not purchase any raw-material (f. ex. gold) from regions in conflict.
Unavoidable waste is systematically collected and, where possible, returned to the material cycle. Any metal waste is recycled.
We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and have decided to neutralize the greenhouse gas emissions caused by the company’s production activities: already since 2011, the photovoltaic system installed on our roof contributes to the company’s energy supply. CO2 emissions which cannot yet be avoided or reduced are compensated and offset through climate protection certificates.

Clips
We have been producing clips for the writing instrument industry for more than sixty years. Clips are available in steel, stainless steel and in copper alloys.
Tailored to our customer’s requirements, we offer the production of single parts (prototyping), small lot production and mass production. Our construction and own toolmaking shop develop single or follow-on composite tools according to the required quantities. These parts can then be heat treated, polished and/ or electroplated on site.
Each year several hundred million clips are thus produced both economically and with high precision for our customers worldwide.
