Sustainability

We have produced exclusively in Germany for more than 100 years, and to shape a successful and sustainable future for our family-owned business is at the heart of our efforts.

Our entrepreneurial vision embraces social and ecological responsibility. We therefore source production materials almost entirely from European suppliers. On principle, we do not purchase any raw-material (f. ex. gold) from regions in conflict.

Unavoidable waste is systematically collected and, where possible, returned to the material cycle. Any metal waste is recycled.

We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and have decided to neutralize the greenhouse gas emissions caused by the company’s production activities: already since 2011, the photovoltaic system installed on our roof contributes to the company’s energy supply. CO2 emissions which cannot yet be avoided or reduced are compensated and offset through climate protection certificates.
